Cute cafe close to Utrecht Central. A little late review and photo from before the pandemic started. The decor of this place is so beautiful and the pancakes are really nice! We also tried the Benny twist and it was super delicious. A smiley face on the avocado toast, always a bonus!!

Would be nice if it didn’t take 45 minutes to just get some pancakes in a pretty empty restaurant. Staff were nice and the pancakes were tasty but I would go back to the pancake place next to the canal next time as it’s just as nice and only took 5 minutes. People in the kitchen just chatting. Not really any excuse to make people wait that long without any explanation or warning ahead of time.

We went to ANNA Pancakes on a Sunday morning around 11, so there wasn’t too many people. No one was there to welcome us, so we picked one of the tables. A few tables had dishes from previous clients still over it. We waited a few minutes until the waitress came to take our order. After ordering we had a long wait until the coffee and orange juice arrived, and even longer for just pancakes and scrambled eggs to arrive. Regardless the long wait, the food didn’t disappoint. The coffee, orange juice, scrambled eggs (fluffy and soft) and pancakes (one of the best I had in Utrecht) were really good and their presentation too. The prices were fair, Coffee Latte, Juice and scrambled eggs about 17 euros. Different payment options were available like cash or cards.
